What we offer
At Road Surveillance Victoria, we offer small-scale, on-site road safety auditing services tailored to construction and traffic management environments in and surrounding North East Victoria. Our safety paperwork helps identify hazards, implement appropriate control measures, and ensure compliance with relevant safety requirements. This process improves site communication, reduces risk, and supports the safe and efficient delivery of each job.
How we audit
The safe system approach is the basis on how project sites must be audited. It's a layered protection system around how to keep people safe from death and serious injuries on the road. If one part of the system fails, the other parts will still protect people. “At the heart of the Towards Zero [Deaths and Injuries] vision is the belief that no one should be killed or seriously injured from using the road network. The aim of Towards Zero is for a world free from road fatalities and serious injuries and the vision is underpinned by the Safe System approach to road safety.” (Austroads Guide 6)

Here at Road Surveillance Victoria, we only take on small job site RSAs to ensure all safety measures are covered. As the company grows, design stage and post-stage audits will be available in the future.

Working with the client
When working with the client, strong communication is a must; collecting all documentation required for the job to ensure all bases are covered and no safety risk is left out. The audit team then prepares and submits a formal road safety audit report to the client outlining identified safety issues and associated risk levels. The report is independent and does not provide detailed design solutions. The client then prepares a formal response addressing each audit finding and a follow-up meeting to discuss known issues will be available.

Services
Road Surveillance Vic currently only conducts single auditor approach audits and only audit small-scale jobsites.
Pricing
Pricing is quoted on works outside of the Alpine Shire. A fixed rate will apply for all works within the Alpine region.
